How to Assemble Your Wedding Invitations
Hey mister postman! So, you just got your invitations back from the printer. You can’t wait to send them to all your friends and family, but where do you start? Follow these simple tips to make sure your invitations are properly stuffed and sealed:
Start by laying your pieces in size order from largest to smallest. Tuck your reply card under the flap of the reply envelope (and don’t forget a stamp on the envelope!).
Slide all of your pieces face up into the inner envelope, with the flap pointing to the right.
Slide your inner envelope, unsealed, into the outer envelope. Make sure the guest’s name is facing up, so when they open the outer envelope, they will be greeted with the beautifully addressed inner envelope.
Double and triple-check that the name on the outer and inner envelopes match up.
That’s it! Seal the envelope and head to the post office!
Pro tip: Assemble an invitation and take it to the post office to be weighed and measured. This ensures you use the right amount of postage!
